So like I said previously, I ordered a 2014 Civic Si Sedan. But I still can't decide on the colour...
Don't forget that 14 Si now have the two tone interior and 18" wheels. My car will also have tinted windows. New wheels:
New interior:
First is Dyno blue pearl... Looks meh IMO and weird with red interior
You have Modern steel metallic, I think the colour combo would be pretty nice but its a pretty common color:
Crystal black pearl, my first pick, again colour combo would be nice with red inserts but cleaning would be a bitch
Then there's Rally red, an other bright colour since I come from orange and I think they're pretty rare and look amazing. But red on red, is it gonna be the same red?
Finally you have Taffeta white, which usually looks girly but i'm still not sure on this car
What would you choose? My fav 3 are red, grey and black.

* BLACK * because it looks the best.

black I'd say

Yeah, but for how long?
I'd go with white or red.

I just happen to think most cars look good in black, provided you keep them clean.

Black looks good. It's just a pain to keep it that way.

Than the new ones?

I was hoping people say red, so....

I always liked grey cars. Easy to care for too, perfect mix between black and white.
I had a grey 2002 Focus way back, it still looked like a relatively new car when I sold it.

How does one order a car and not choose a color? Also my black stays clean for about half a day. I'd say silver is the best looking/cleanest staying color

I'd say the red really does look best on that car in person. But- for some reason I just like blue cars. Here is my 2013 si coupe

Another vote for Black

White with black and lightly red wheels would look killer.

If it weren't for the red interior accents, It'd be harder to choose. But with the red, white is a no-brainer.

ORANGE. All cars need to be orange.
Red is close enough.

Rouge! De loin!

Just curious, what was is that made you go with the Si over something like the Fiesta ST, GTI, or Focus ST? Not knocking your decision at all, I'm just in the market for the same type of vehicle and want to see all sides.

Invisible!
Seriously, my taste would be more towards the grey or blue, or maybe the white. Nothing in this range really jumps out at me, respray it bright green.

White.. and maybe later down the line, if you mod your car, some gold or SBC RPF1s.

Correct, I think those are ugly wheels. But I got a Focus ST because I didn't like the Si.

Civic Si can be had for ~20k after discounts, easy. A civic sedan will baby while also being cheap on insurance. Fiesta STs are near that price but cramped back seats make car seats or 4 adults a chore. Focus STs and GTIs cost more to buy and insure. If your budget won't go that high, the civic Si is a pretty solid all rounder for 20k.

I'd get white and then a repaint in burgundy or dark red if possible, though it might just be me since I'm more of a fan of darker colors.

Not gonna be possible since it's a lease!

I think they look similar to the 2015 GTI's wheels

Circumstances really... I have a 07 GTI but its approaching the end of the warranty and hasn't been reliable in the last few months. I wanted the 15 GTi, but 3-door is only here end of summer and a 5-door is a no for me and i'm changing before pouring more money into the GTI. I'm a die-hard VW fan tho, but since I'm in school for the next few years i needed to make a smart move. I didn't really go over at Ford, I wanted to test drive the Focus ST but I'm still not sure of the looks. Plus, it'll change next year and I want something fresh as long as possible. The Fiesta ST would be cool, but I think it's girly. And my uncle works at Honda, so trading-in the GTI and leasing the SI for 24 months doesn't cost me a dime. In fact, I'll "make" 2 grand at the end of the lease. That was the major factor, because I never was a fan of Hondas and never thought about getting a SI. But the 14 has some major upgrades, so all this together made me take this!

How do you feel seeing the new 2014?

They'll be delivered end of april, plenty of time to decide the colour!

Damn

-I like the rear bumper treatment, but not the front.
-More power is good- but the difference is minimal.
-If they upgraded interior materials, thats cool, but I dont think it (2013) needed it. I haven't seen one in person to really make an opinion.
-I am not clear on what they did with the suspension. The 2013 is compliant enough to be decent on rutted roads. It corners nice and flat on an autocross course. Compared to my 2009 Mazdaspeed3, it rides vastly smoother and quieter, without giving up any "handling" IMO. I hope they didnt ruin the 2014 with stiff springs.
-The new wheels are bigger. This will harm ride quality and make tires a little more expensive, but they are nice looking.

I'll quote an article the seller (my uncle) sent me.
-"Modified exhaust system to gain some hp", so yeah that's minimal
-"Modifications to the suspension to reduced body roll and floating sensation over bumps"
-"New multimedia system with HDMI port and HondaLink"
-"LaneWatch feature"
-"New more robust interior cloth"
-"Keyless entry and start-up system"
This come from a french article tho, that's not the exact quotes! IMO the old cloth interior looked ridiculous, I'm still not sure that apart from the colour they changed anything else on SIs. And I like a firm ride, so 18s won't be a problem. I' coming from 18 too.
